You can help to make a difference!
Many of the families to the children with special needs suffer from poverty, which makes it hard for them to pay a school fee and give their child the opportunity for development and education. Therefore we need as much help as we can get to keep these children in school.
You can become a sponsor and facilitate the rehabilitation and education of one child in Hargeisa School for Special Needs by donating school fees for:
- 1 month: 20 US $
- 3 months: 60 US $
- 6 months: 120 US $
- 12 months: 480 US $
The monthly school fee will cover the
following:
- Training and stimulation at Hargeisa School for Special Needs, a day school
- functioning six days a week
Transportation to and from the school
Snack - and lunch (supported by World Food Programme)
All the money will go directly to the child's school fee. If you chose to donate, you will receive a letter every 6 months describing your donor child's progress.
You can also be a sponsor and participate in funding any of the following micro income generating projects for the Hargeisa School for Special Education's sustainability:
- Construction of poultry farm costing approximately US $ 5000
- Development of furniture workshop costing approximately US $ 1500
- Awareness raising seminars for parents and teachers in the regular schools in Somaliland.
